Industrial vibe meets Country Kitchen

November 4 2016

An Eclectic mix of country styling and Industrial elements makes this kitchen quite unique.

This kitchen was styled with a shaker door manufactured by Matthews Joinery and 2 pac painted in a satin finish. The handle gives the door the Industrial feel with a Furnware Dorset handle from the Iron Bridge range being used throughout the kitchen. The use of stainless steel elemnents and the subway tile add to the look the client was chasing.

Details make all the difference.

The details in this kitchen really help pull the look into the Industrial vibe and away from the traditional Country look. The fabulous tiles with the dark grout have been laid around the open shelves creating a really interesting design element. The kitchen has 60 mm thick Neolith porcelain bench tops by CDK Stone in Basalt Grey. It is a very matt finish and looks very much like concrete. The roller door to the appliance cabinet is from Tambortech and has a stainless steel finish which picks up the Industrial vibe and matches the stainless steel kicker and appliances used in the kitchen.

No compromises on storage in this kitchen!

A huge appliance cabinet houses a coffee machine, kettle and toaster. The drawers below allow food items to be stored and easily accessed. The corner cabinets make use of the wire corner units. These units really are one of the most useful and versatile bits of hardware. We have one on display in our Ballarat showroom. Even small 300 mm wide cabinets can provide great storage by using dividers, the Blum Bottle set and inner drawers as shown above. Drawers can be divided up with cutlery and utensil inserts so everything has a place and can be kept neatly and found when needed.
