We are thrilled with our new kitchen renovation which was designed, built and installed by Mathews Joinery (Ballarat).  The level of professionalism, initiative and friendly approach shown by all staff was excellent.

We had a positive impression from the very first moment we entered the kitchen showroom at Matthew’s Joinery.  The showroom has several kitchen displays where the customer has the opportunity to open-close doors and drawers, feel the products and can imagine how the products would look in their own homes.  It was there we asked lots of questions to the Designer who gave us her absolute focussed attention.

The Designer had wonderful ideas and understood exactly what we wanted.  Some of the features we love include; custom capping which connects all cupboards and which is fitted with led strip lights, (with remote control).  These lights run across the entire wall of sink and bench area and they provide fantastic light. We love that some of the kitchen doors are glazed doors, which act to feature some of our favourite crockery. We are also delighted with the appliance cupboard which we use as a breakfast and mini snack bar, sort of like a mini pantry with appliances, cups, plates and cutlery.  It is another work area in the kitchen and it’s wonderful because several people can be in the kitchen working at the same time, but everyone can have a separate work station.  We find the large drawers are so much better than the cupboards we use to have.  We seem to be able to fit more in the drawers than the old cupboards.  The cupboards and doors are very easy to open and close as they are fitted with soft close hinges.  Some of the high cupboards open with a light touch, they are fitted with aventos servo drive lift up doors.  These high cupboards have allowed us so much more storage.

The cabinet making workmanship was flawless and the cabinet makers were meticulous at putting everything together. Communication between everyone flowed easily. We had no problems with any part of the production and were extremely happy with the after care service and, were most impressed when everything was physically checked after instalment.  We are very happy.
