Daylesford Industrial Kitchen Joinery and beautiful bedhead

Local Interior designer, Danielle Herman commissioned Ballarat’s Matthews Joinery and Kitchen Centre to bring her beautiful Industrial kitchen to life. A great deal of thought and planning went into the whole build of this beautiful barn situated on the fringes of Daylesford.

Just looks like a barn!

Whilst the exterior has a modest and simple vibe that blends perfectly with its environment the interior exudes warmth and luxury. The kitchen joinery and bedhead were extremely customised and had great detail.

Custom Industrial Kitchen Joinery.

The kitchen doors, drawers and panels were 2 pak white satin with the contrast feature cabinets in black 2 pak satin. They were manufactured by Matthews Joinery and Kitchen Centre with a V-groove detail. The modern machinery we have at our Ballarat factory enables us to manufacture custom joinery such as this.

The custom made benchtops have been fabricated from Stainless Steel and has an integrated sink in the Island bench.

The raised top is solid Jarrah and was installed to appear it is just floating over the island bench. Some clever cantilevering was required to make this happen.

Custom Made Bedhead.

The Bedhead was made using Timber Veneer. It houses the wardrobes on the other side. Effectively creating a division between the bedroom and dressing room and en suite.
